Postdoctoral Associate
Baylor College of Medicine (BCM)
The Zoghbi lab is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to lead projects at the forefront of neuropsychiatric genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics. The Zoghbi lab is leading several large scale initiatives to understand the genomic basis of schizophrenia, OCD, and neurodevelopmental disorders providing opportunities to conduct large scale common and rare variant GWAS/ExWAS. We are also developing novel machine learning methods to improve risk gene prediction and variant interpretation. This role will focus on the analysis of large-scale human genetics, scRNAseq, and proteomics datasets. There will also be opportunities to develop statistical methods and computational pipelines to streamline and improve the analysis and trainees on clinically impactful projects.
