Job description
The chair of Smart Architectural Technologies at TU/e Built Environment seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary team on the nationally funded projects. These projects are dedicated to improving the overall health and well-being of older individuals in long-term care settings, with a focus on resilience, vulnerability management, and technology acceptance. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative healthcare decision-making frameworks, making a direct impact on policy and shaping the future of built environments for healthcare.

This includes exploring the effectiveness of technological interventions and developing comprehensive decision-making models for future long-term care facilities. Collaboration with consortium partners, including researchers from TNO, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, care institutions, and housing cooperatives, is a key aspect of this position.

· Proficiency in Dutch and English, essential for conducting local fieldwork and engaging with international research communities.
