POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN LUNG STEM CELL BIOLOGY

Employer

De Langhe lab at Mayo Clinic Rochester

Location

Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota (US)

Salary

61,000-74,000

Closing date

Aug 13, 2024

The De Langhe Laboratory at Mayo Clinic Rochester studies lung development, repair and regeneration in order to improve pulmonary disease such as lung fibrosis, influenza and covid induced ARDS or COPD. We utilize single cell transcriptomics, genetically engineered mouse models and 3D organotypic cultures to characterize cellular/microenvironmental processes that underly lung tissue construction, deconstruction and reconstruction, identify molecular mechanisms governing cell fate selection and cell plasticity, and develop regenerative therapies.
