Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) invites applications for tenure-track positions in Accounting, Data and Business Intelligence, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Strategic Management, Management Science, Marketing, and Organization Management. We wish to recruit new faculty members at all levels (Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor). We offer excellent research support and competitive compensation packages comparable to research schools in China and Asia. We seek applicants with strong research potential, as well as commitment and dedication to teaching. We enthusiastically invite scholars with an excellent record of research and teaching for senior positions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

All candidates should have a Ph.D. or be fresh graduates in Accounting, Data and Business Intelligence, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Strategic Management, Analytics, Statistics, Operations Management, Operations Research, Marketing, Organization Management, or other related fields. They are expected to have a strong commitment to research and teaching with evidence of publication potential and ability to teach in English or Chinese.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

■ Statement of teaching philosophy and research plan (if any);

■ Evidence of teaching performance (if any);

■Three letters of recommendation (submitted directly from the recommenders), only needed for associate and assistant professor positions.

■ Positions in Accounting: Recruitments for senior positions at the rank of associate or full professors will remain open until the positions are filled; The application deadline for assistant professor is December 1, 2024 (23:59 Beijing Time).

■ Positions in Data and Business Intelligence: December 31, 2024 (23:59 Beijing Time).

■ Positions in Economics: Specific recruitment information will be announced in the second half of 2024.

■ Positions in Finance: June 30 (23:59 Beijing Time) is the deadline for recruitment in the first half of 2024, and recruitment information will be announced again in the second half of 2024.

■ Positions of Management Information Systems direction in Information, Technology and Innovation: October 19, 2024(23:59 Beijing Time).

■ Positions of Strategic Management direction in Information, Technology and Innovation: August 1, 2024 (23:59 Beijing Time).

■ Positions in Management Science: December 1, 2024 (23:59 Beijing Time).

■ Positions in Marketing: December 31, 2024 (23:59 Beijing Time).

■ Positions in Organization Management: August 20, 2024 (23:59 Beijing Time).

Note:

We will only consider candidates with complete applications received before this date for interviews.

- For senior positions in Accounting, review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.

- For positions in Data and Business Intelligence, we follow the principle of applying first, processing first, until position fill.

- For positions in Finance, we will conduct online interviews, starting from July 15, 2024.

- For positions in Organization Management, we will conduct interviews around the 2024 AOM Annual Meeting. Candidates attending the AOM Annual Meeting will be interviewed in-person. Other candidates will be interviewed online.

■ Positions in Accounting: Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, ESG Reporting, and Information Technology in Accounting;

■ Positions in Data and Business Intelligence: All areas of data and business intelligence, including Big Data Computation, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Statistics Learning and Algorithms;

■ Positions in Economics: Specific recruitment information will be announced in the second half of 2024.

■ Positions in Finance: Macro Finance, Corporate Finance, and FinTech;

■ Positions in Information, Technology and Innovation: All areas of Information Systems (candidates with skills in design science, business analytics and big data, and data science are preferred), and All areas of Strategic Management;

■ Positions in Management Science: Business Analytics, Operations Management, Stochastic Models, Operations Research, Data-driven Decision Methodologies and Applications;

■ Positions in Marketing: Empirical Modeling, Marketing Strategy (only for associate and assistant professor positions) and Consumer Behavior.

■ Positions in Organization Management: Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Organization Theory, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
